Referees who will take charge of the World Cup qualification match between Kenya and Uganda on Thursday at the Nyayo National Stadium have been named.The two neighboring countries will face off in the first Group E qualification match with both sides keen on starting their qualification journey on a positive note.World’s football governing body, FIFA has handed the officiating mandate to Sudanese referees with Ethiopia’s Gebre Silassie Solomon set to serve as the Match Commissioner with Labrosse Jean-Claude serving as the referees’ assessor.Ismail Mahmood Ali Mahmood has been named center referee and he will do with assistance from Ibrahim Abdallah Mohamed Abdallah and Abdelgabar Abdelgabar Mohammed. The duo will serve as the first and second assistant referees respectively. Fadul Sabri Mohammed will be the reserve referee in the game.Meanwhile, both teams have intensified training ahead of the match. Stars have been pitching camp at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani while Cranes, who landed in the country on Monday night, trained at the Utalii Grounds.
