Vihiga Queens’ striking duo of Maurine Achieng’ and Violet Wanyonyi have vowed to help Kenya have a participant in the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League by helping Queens book a place in the tournament by winning in the CECAFA Women’s Champions League Qualifiers currently taking place in Nairobi.In order to qualify for the women’s continental tournament, Queens need to win their zonal qualifiers as only the winner advances to the eight team competition set to be held in Egypt later this year. The format in the first edition will see champions of each of the six CAF Zones play for a spot in the competition.
