Posta Rangers midfielder Jackson Dwang is elated after winning the club’s 2020/21 MVP award as voted by fans.The Mail-men number ten, who scored five league goals for his team saw off competition from assistant captain Suleiman Ngotho and keeper Kelvin Opiyo to win the award that comes with a monetary reward from the club.In an interview, Dwang spoke of his delight at winning the award while thanking his teammates for the role they played to enable him get feted.“It feel good to win this award, it means I did something positive in the team last season and it is also a motivation to perform even better next season. I want to thank my teammates for the support they accorded me because football is a team sport and you have to pull together in the same direction. As the management we are determined to motivate these players to perform well by giving them such incentives. We started it last season with player of the month award and now we are doing player of the season. Next season we intend to make it bigger, with even a better package,” he added.The Mail-men will be hoping to better their 13-place finish next season.
