CECAFAWCL: Vihiga Queens striker revels in hat trick heroics, targets top scorer award

After losing our opening match, I am glad I helped the team get the three points as were only focused on getting a win in the match. As for me, I have this goal of being the top scorer in the CECAFA Zonal qualifiers so any chance I get, I will do my best in trying to convert them and help the team win the tournament,” the forward remarked.Vihiga seek qualification against New Generation as PVP face Lady DovesCurrently, with three points, Queens are in second position on the log courtesy of a superior goal difference compared to Yei Joint Stars who are third in the group that CBE tops with six points and New Generation trails with no points recorded.In the final group match taking place on Friday, Achieng will have another chance to help his side qualify to the semis as they host New Generation at Nyayo National Stadium.
