Fati has suffered countless setbacks since then. He’s endured a nasty knee infection which delayed his progress even further. After a second operation failed to ease the pain, the teenager needed another to remove the meniscus in his knee entirely.Thankfully, he recovered in time for the new campaign – the first one after the shocking departure of Lionel Messi.
