FKFPL Awards: Macharia headlines six players shortlisted for the Midfielder of the Year award

Creative Tusker midfielder Jackson Macharia is among the six players shortlisted for the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League Midfielder of the Year award.Macharia who is currently with the national team Harambee Stars for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers was instrumental in helping the brewers run away with the league title as he was the club’s second best scorer in the season.Despite being used as an impact player, the dreadlocked player also bagged a couple of assists in a season where Tusker where the highest scoring team.Macharia will face off with Lawrence Juma who was in a class of his own while in the Sofapaka colours as he found the back of the net sixteen times and recorded five assists.⭐| Official Nominees for the award of the Midfielder of the year Season 2020/211.
