Fulham’s Mitro is on fire, but it’s Serbia that sees the most of him

Fulham’s rollercoaster ride through the EFL Championship and the Premier League and back was a result of many flaws and only one virtue – Aleksandar Mitrovic.Literally NO Fulham player helping Mitro out cos they know he don’t need backup. 🔥#OnThisDay 🗓️ #FulhamFC pic.twitter.com/ZJirKlXqfV— Fulhamatto (@fulhamatto) February 9, 2021 A prodigious striker is not always on the highest possible level, but no one can neglect Mitro’s immense goal-scoring talent. Unfortunately for the Craven Cottage outfit, Mitrovic is much more efficient with his national side than with his club. Tonight, Mitro scored a brace, his 42nd and 43rd goal for Serbia in a 4-1 win against Luxembourg in the 2022 FIFA WC qualifiers. He has netted an incredible seven times in four games with those two, which makes him a top scorer among the European qualifiers. Altogether he has reached a milestone of 14 goals in three qualifying campaigns (WC 2014, WC 2018, WC 2022).
