Vihiga Bullets have been promoted to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League after firing twice past Kibera Black Stars goalkeeper in their final fixture of the 2020-2021 National Super League staged at the Bukhungu Stadium. Following the result, Bullets finished the season with 63 points, a tally similar to that of Kenya Police but the latter had an inferior goal difference despite beating Migori Youth 2-1 at the Migori Stadium. Having missed out on automatic promotion, Police will try their luck in the playoff where they will face top flight side Vihiga United who finished third from bottom. In other matches played on Sunday, Kisumu All Stars wrapped the season with a 1-0 win over MCF at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu while APs Bomet played Silibwet Leons to a one all draw at the Bomet Stadium.
