Kakamega Homeboyz have acquired the services of Shabana FC goalkeeper Elix Otieno, Coach Bernard Mwalala has confirmed.The Kakamega-based side have been trailing the highly-rated custodian and they have finally managed to secure his services. He is expected to inject competition into the goalkeeping department.Coach Mwalala has praised the youngster saying he will improve their goalkeeping department that boasts of the likes of Godfrey Oputi, David Juma, and Ali Kesi. “It is true we have signed Otieno from Shabana FC. He is a player we have been looking at for some time now and we are happy that he is finally on board. They are Michael Karamor and Clinton Bulimo both from Western Stima and Sunday Mutuku who rejoins the team from Ethiopian side Sidama Bunna. Michael Arot and Bonaventure Atse on the other hand have exited.The team’s technical bench was recently reshuffled when Nicholas Muyoti, who had been with the club for the last three years left for Nairobi City Stars.
