Aguero sent a warning to Barcelona’s Champions League opponents

This is not a good season for Sergio Aguero, at least for now. The Argentinian left Manchester City after 10 years and decided to sign for Barcelona. But, his wish to play alongside his best mate Lionel Messi was brutally interrupted, as Messi never resigned with Barca and went to PSG instead, meaning that the pair haven’t even touched the ball together in training. And on top of everything, Aguero got injured and won’t feature for his new club until November. Sergio Aguero: “When I heard Barcelona were interested, I told my agent that I didn’t care about the money. There are many players around the world who would be willing to take a pay cut to join a club like Barcelona.” [RAC1]🔵🔴 pic.twitter.com/9Hb3Dz4saZ— Goal India (@Goal_India) September 10, 2021 After the Messi saga was surprisely ended, media were all over Aguero, stating that the Argentinian had a clause in his contract which said that he can leave the club in Messi doesn’t sign, which new Barca forward strongly objected. “I don’t understand why there was talk of this. When I signed, Leo had nothing signed. They were coming to an agreement. It was invented that there was a clause, but there was nothing” he told RAC1.(3.90) ESPANYOL (3.35) REAL MADRID (2.0)The Argentinian also talked about a possible matchup against Messi in Barcelona, and his club’s chances in the upcoming La Liga and Champions League competitions. “I’ve already faced Messi, but it would be very nice. Now, we know that when Leo turns on the light it’s impossible to stop him. We have very good players. Those who have left are important, but even so Barca have plenty of players to cover it up. Just because we are Barca we have to fight for all the titles. I don’t think we are favourites for the Champions League, but our rivals have respect for us. Whenever I’ve faced Barcelona, even at their worst, we’ve always said that ‘it’s Barcelona’. Maybe people don’t expect much from us in the Champions League, but be careful…” warned Aguero.
