He was the first player who joined Cheza Sports back in 2013,”“He made it into the Kenya Under 17 Nairobi select squad that was to take part in a tournament in Rwanda but did not make the final cut of the squad,” said Olimba. Peterborough described Adiodo as a strong and quick central midfielder/winger and will be handed the number 18 jersey as he prepares to work his way to the top.Olimba also revealed how Adiodo earned the chance to sign for the club noting that he had to wait for three years to finally join the club as his father made several attempts to have him at Peterborough.Byron was unveiled as a Peterborough Northern Star Fc, UK player. We trust he will match and outdo the the top performance he gave South B based Cheza Sports Academy since joining them on the 26th February, 2013.All the best Byron. #TheGamePlan pic.twitter.com/u4KBiRMij0— Carol Radull (@CarolRadull) September 9, 2021 “His father was in the UK so he went for a short trial, that is how he got a chance to play for Peterborough because the trials were successful but that is just a development team so I hope he works hard to make it to bigger clubs,”“It has however been a long time play that has been ongoing for three years but got the chance to go to the UK three months ago,” added Olimba. Adiodo is among the success stories that have emerged from Cheza Sports academy including South Sudan women skipper Amy Lasu who trained with the men’s side and Sande Balecho who currently turns out for Muranga Seal in the National Super League (NSL). ##EDITORS_CHOICE##
