Juventus was bad with Andrea Pirlo at the helm, we all know that. But Juventus continues to disappoint with Massimiliano Allegri as a coach. The Old lady has failed to win in a third round of Serie A, and has only 1 point, after a defeat against Napoli: 1-1. It’s worth noting that Juve, already without Cristiano Ronaldo, who went back to Manchester United and scored a brace against Newcastle, Allegri had to play without Federico Chiesa (injured), while South Americans Dybala, Sandro, Cuadrado, Danilo and Rodrigo were unable to play after being back home for the crazy round of World Cup qualifiers. Too much, even for Juventus. Napoli had a perfect opportunity to play against Juve at home, and yet, they needed some help to win the game. They found it in Juve keeper Szczesny, who made two crucial mistakes and allowed the home team to win. Neapolitans played good and had chances, with Lorenzo Insigne again as the main man. He is currently in a contract dispute with the Napoli president, but this situation must be resolved quickly. This team is mediocre without the quick winger. Napoli started with a strong push and initiative, and still, it was 0-1 after just 11 minutes. Manolas made an error and Morata had an easy task: 1-0 for the visitors. Juventus waited for another Napoli mistake and Kulusevski had a chance to increase the lead, but Ospina made a good save.
Napoli again started strongly after the break and soon equalized. Again it was Insigne who started the action and produced a beautiful volley, but Szczesny didn’t tip the ball to corner, but tried to catch in with both hands. He failed and Politano just taped the ball into the net for the equalizer. And when it seemed that the game will finish with a goal apiece, Szczesny stepped up and denied his team even that one point. After a corner, the Polish keeper he did not position himself well, and allowed Koulibali to score from one meter for the win and the first place in Serie A.
