They are struggling with quorum as media reports indicate that they only have 12 first team players available for the duel against the reigning league champions.Speaking ahead of league kick off, Juma, who is also a former AFC Leopards great is upbeat and positive of the new season. He says the team’s target is to compete in the league and possibly bag the title.“There are teams that you will never hear them say, let’s now play this season to finish fourth or just be in the mid-table positions. Teams like Gor Mahia, AFC (Leopards) their targets will forever remain the same year in year out, to win silverware. Have you ever seen at the beginning of the season our rivals Gor Mahia declaring that let us just settle for the mid-table slot?” he is quoted as saying by Citizen Digital.📈| Are y’all ready for the new Season?#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/yAx6CMA2pT— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) September 20, 2021 Among players linked with a switch to the den is APS Bomet keeper Bonphas Munyasa, Mwatate United striker Cornelius Juma, Tusker’s Michael Wanjala among others.##EDITORS_CHOICE##
