Wazito FC have made their second off-season signing by acquiring the services of Kayole Youth FC central defender Boniface Owino on a long-term deal.The player becomes the second Wazito FC signing after Tyson Otieno who earlier today joined the team from Mathare United, reuniting with head coach Francis Kimanzi whom he worked with at the Slum Boys.The club has now taken to social media to announce Owino’s arrival.“We can confirm the signing of Bonface Owino from Kayole Youth FC. Owino, a central defender joins us on a long-term deal. He added that it has been his dream to play in the top-flight and promised to fight for his place in the team.“I am happy to be joining Wazito FC. It has always been my dream to play in the top-flight and finally, I have a chance to play for this great team. He is talented and I urge him to fight for a starting position because age is just but a number,” CEO Gicheru said. He will don jersey number 31.
