Newly-acquired Bandari left back Boniface Mwangemi has disclosed his ambition of inspiring the coastal club to its maiden Football Kenya Federation Premier League title as well as win individual accolades. Bandari who have beefed their squad ahead of the new season set to kick off this weekend headhunted the youthful defender from Kariobangi Sharks to have option in the defensive flank.Prior to his arrival, the Andre Casa Mbungo coached club had one left-back in Siraj Mohamed and would occasionally slot Hassan Idd, a natural centre back on the flank. Apart from Mwangemi, Bandari have acquired Whyvonne Isuza from Wazito, Rodgers Aloro from Tusker and Joseph Okoth from KCB.Mwangemi who has amassed decent top flight experience with Sharks said he is on a mission to help the club end their close to three years of trophy drought and sweep the monthly awards dished to outstanding players.“Looking at the quality of players in the club, it is possible to win titles. Last season, we placed third on the log and the arrival of new players myself included is meant to strengthen all departments and win accolades. I will give my best and ensure that we deliver on the set targets,” he said.Immediate former Dagoretti High School captain Boniface Mwangemi starts for Kariobangi Sharks. Watch out for the young lad.
