Posta Rangers have been dealt a huge blow after defender Kevin Ouma left the team and joined the Kenya Defence Forces, he is expected to turn out for Ulinzi Stars once he graduates from the Recruits Training School (RTS).Ouma was a key player for Posta and featured prominently when coach Stanley Okumbi joined the team earlier this year. He had been linked with a move to Gor Mahia but has now opted to join the military and progress his career at the KDF sponsored, Ulinzi Stars.“Ouma is no longer with us, he has joined the military. He came to us and informed us that he would like to progress with his career elsewhere and we agreed to let him go because this could be a life-changing opportunity for him and we wish him all the best at his new club. He was largely a fringe player in the team before coach Okumbi arrived.Meanwhile, the club has signed 12 new players to beef their squad ahead of the new season. The new players are; Samuel Njau from Gor Mahia, Brian Otieno from Sindo United, Sammy Imbuye and Timothy Otieno from Sofapaka, Western Stima’s Kennedy Odhiambo. Tusker trio of Sammy Meja, Brian Marita, and Chrispinus Onyango, Victor Ndinya, Levian Ochieng from Equity FC, Vincent Wasambo from KCB and Alfred Tonui from Kisumu-All Stars.Posta begin their new season with a match against Kariobangi Sharks. The match will be staged at the Thika Sub-County Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
