The kid’s got that something! We’ve already told you the story of Arsenal’s young forward Folarin ‘Flo’ Balogun. He’s certainly one to look at in the future. But it doesn’t mean that he has nothing to show today! Will he be Balogunner or Balogoner?Playing for the Arsenal Under-23s, or “the development team” as they call it, Balogun showed his promising talent in the win against Brighton. Playing at the Emirates, young Flo initially missed a penalty kick, but he made amends by scoring afterwards, winning and scoring another spot-kick.Anyway, just take a look at this! That is unbelievable by Balogun. Love it ❤️ pic.twitter.com/zVKNh0ZI7W— Av (@aviv_lavi) October 1, 2021 A few weeks ago, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta challenged Balogun to fight for his place and try to break into the senior side. “Flo made his debut against Brentford and he played the following game against Chelsea as well. It’s been a big step for him in the last few months. He did all the pre-season with us, so he’s already learnt a lot in a few months. He’s another player in the squad who has to fight for his place and ensure he’s available to do that.”Saturday, 19.30: (3.10) Brighton (3.20) Arsenal (2.55)We can’t help but consider tonight’s low-key game as a step in the right direction for the young gun.
