Kibwage and Duncan Otieno join Miheso and others at KEFWA’s non-contracted players program

Duncan Otieno and Michael Kibwage have followed in the footsteps of Clifton Miheso and joined Kenyan Footballers Welfare Association’s (Kefwa) non-contracted players’ football training programme at Two Rivers, raising questions on whether that is a come-get-us plea from the duo to local top-tier clubs. This comes amidst reports that AFC Leopards are interested in resigning Otieno for a fourth stint with the club, together with Miheso and John Mark Makwatta who are also free agents.Otieno recently terminated his contract with Lusaka Dynamos, ending a ten-month association with the club and is currently a free agent. The decision of the former Nkana FC player may as well be looked at from a perspective of getting ready for a reunion with Ingwe, an attempt to get fully fit before joining the team with fixtures set to come in thick and fast after the international break.Miheso was part of the 12 players that were present on the first day, with Kibwage and the former AFC Leopards midfielder joining later.Duncan Otieno ditches AFC Leopards days after rejoining the club.
