Wazito forward Erick Gichimu hopes working under the watchful eyes of revered tactician Francis Kimanzi will give him breakthrough in his career this season. Gichimu ditched Bidco United for Wazito a couple of days ago and bagged his first goal for the club in their 3-2 win against National Super League side Kibera Black Stars on Saturday in a friendly match. The 25-year old who is in second season in the top tier had a decent return of goals in the past and his debut campaign, netting seven goals to attract the attention of Wazito. I am lucky to be training and playing under Kimanzi whose sessions are good for my endurance. He has been helping me improve on my skills, positioning and my game generally,” he said.
