Biashara United forward Baron Oketch is praying that the Tanzanian government will issue him with his work permit so as to make his long awaited debut for the top flight club. The former Western Stima hitman has been forced to wait for his first competitive match while in Biashara colours thanks to lack of the authorization to ply his trade in Tanzania.Biashara who are under the tutelage of former Gor Mahia assistant coach Patrick Odhiambo and Marwa Chamberi deeped into the Kenyan market and left with Oketch’s signature and further acquired Shaphan Oyugi from Kariobangi Sharks. The club also signed Tayo Odongo, a Ugandan national who prior to his departure was attached to Zoo FC and had previously turned for Wazito, Tusker and Sharks.Following Western Stima’s relegation from the FKF Premier League, Stima winger Baron Oketch is set to join Tanzania’s Biashara United.#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/dEQtKPSGqs— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) August 18, 2021 The delay in processing the permit has since seen Oketch return home and he is anticipating that the document will be ready before the FIFA international week ends.
