Nyamunyamu upbeat ahead of CAF Women’s Champions League

After emerging Champions in the CECAFA zone qualifiers, Vihiga Queens face a daunting task in the CAF Women’s Champion’s League which kicks off in exactly a month’s time but coach Boniface Nyamunyamu is adamant that they are in it to win it.The Kenyan team kick off their group stage matches with a clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Military Academy Stadium in Cairo on 6 November 2021 before facing ASFAR on November 9 at the same venue and winding up their group matches against Nigeria’s Rivers Angels on November 12 at the 30 June Stadium.Considering the nature of the opponent in the competition, Nyamunyamu has urged his charges not to be complacent and not to underrate any team at the competition.CAF women’s champions league draw:Vihiga Queens will be in Pool B alongside:South Africa’s Mamelodi SundownsASFAR club from MoroccoNigeria’s Rivers Angels. We wish Vihiga Queens all the best.#HiiNiTalkSport pic.twitter.com/krabozr0NX— CANTONA JOSEPH (@CANTONAJOSEPH) September 30, 2021 The tactician is raring to go in the league of champions, terming the participating teams in the tournament the best 8 in the continent in 2021.“Being in a continental tournament that is bringing out from zonal qualifiers, I do believe that each and everyone who qualified to participate in is the best in their region and is, therefore, a wealthy competitor that should not be underrated.
