New Neymar from Ghana: Kamaldeen Sulemana is the new Ligue 1 star

Since Lionel Messi came to PSG, the best footballer in the world has been the talk of the League 1, but not for his football qualities. The Argentinian has showed little so far, for various reasons, but his goal in the Champions League against Manchester City reminded people why is he the best, and many hope that this goal is the beginning of another great season for the Argentinian, this time in France. But, in the very next game, Messi again showed nothing, as PSG surprisingly lost to Rennes 2-0. And in that game, there was another player who stole the spotlight to Messi, Neymar and Mbappe together, and he is actually the talk of the Ligue 1 for the real reason: his performances on the pitch. In fact, Sulemana followed in the footsteps of Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele becoming the second youngest player to score a double in the French Ligue 1. The quick winger netted twice when Rennes defeated Clermont Foot 6-0.  The Ghanaian only needed 14 minutes on his home debut against Lens to score his first goal in France, after making a 2 billion Ksh transfer from Danish Nordsjaelland in June this year. (3.10) BELGIUM (3.10) FRANCE (2.60)The Danish club, owned by ’Right to Dream academy’ has a lot of suitors for the 19 years old, but he eventually choose Rennes over Ajax and Manchester United, realizing that he wouldn’t be able to play straight away in those clubs. Sulemana is the fourth Ghanaian to play for Rennes, following in the footsteps of John Mensah, John Boye and Asamoah Gyan but it was to another Ghanaian former Ligue 1 star that the player turned to for advice: “I didn’t speak to any of the Ghanaians who have played here. The only player I spoke to was Michael Essien because he’s a coach at FC Nordsjaelland and also my neighbour so we spoke about this league. He played at Bastia and Lyon and I spoke to him about the league and how interesting it could be for my development“ said Rennes winger. Danish national coach Flemming Pedersen used to be his manager in Nordsjaelland, and he compares the youngster with Neymar.”He’s a whirlwind, we’re talking Neymar level potential, maybe even more because he’s even faster” said Pedersen last year.NAWUNI KU DIHI TIVI🙏🏿❤️An unforgettable night at Roahzon park .
