Cris “Cybog” (24-2, 1 NC) of Brazil is coming off the win via fifth-round TKO against Leslie Smith, which marked her second successful defense of Bellator 145-pound title. Prior to that former UFC, Invicta FC and StrikeForce women’s featherweight champion submitted Arlene Blencowe, TKO’d Julia Budd and scored a unanimous decision against Felecia Spencer.
No. 5-ranked contender Sinead Kavanagh (7-4) of Ireland is riding the two-win streak. In her previous bout she earned a unanimous decision against Katharina Lehner. Before that she stopped Olga Rubin in Round 2.
