He Has previously coached Zoo FC, Mt. Kenya United, Nairobi Stima, and Wazito FC. He believes that the CAF B coaching lessons will improve him and other tacticians. “I played for many clubs and the Kenyan national team. On my coaching career, I want to thank the federation for making these coaching courses available because it was a real challenge for us to get the knowledge. There are many coaches without the knowledge and an opportunity to learn is one that we appreciate,” he stated.“I want to thank the Federation because we were out there coaching without knowledge which is not the way things should be done. We were just doing what we saw our coaches doing butwithout really understanding.”~ Coach Fred Ambani pic.twitter.com/u3QqqJ9p4T— Kenn Okaka Kenya (@kennokaka1000) October 13, 2021 Ambani further admitted that many coaches have been handling teams without proper skills.“We did our CAF C in 2017, and we are happy that we are now pursuing CAF B. We have been coaching teams without proper certification. It is helping us in terms of timing the game, practice and it will make us become great coaches,”.He went on to urge other tacticians to take up these opportunities in order to enhance their knowledge of the game in order to impart it much easier.“We are also doing our internship something that was not there before, and we are getting an opportunity to learn new things. I urge other coaches when there are such course and internship opportunities they should take them up so that they can acquire this invaluable knowledge,” he added. He also believes that with proper knowledge, the local coaches will in the future have an opportunity to handle the national team, Harambee Stars.“It will also make it easy for local coaches to get a chance to handle the national team because they will be qualified in terms of coaching badges”.
