Murang’a Seal head coach Vincent Nyaberi says the team’s target next season is to earn a promotion to the top tier after getting a financial boost.The team recently landed a lucrative sponsorship deal that many believe could play a major role in helping the team grace the FKF Premier League from the 2022/23 season.The task of leading the ambitious team to the top tier has been handed to Nyaberi, a long-serving former Thika United player. He also handled Shabana FC in the National Super League.“With a new sponsor on board, the goal now is to earn promotion to the top tier. The players and everyone around the team understands that this is what we want to achieve next season and we are going to work hard towards it,” he told Mozzart Sport.The club has also beefed up its playing unit by acquiring the services of four players with three more set to follow. Mabia and Mutinda join us from Fortune Sacco while Traore and Marvin have joined from Shabana. There are three other players that we are still in talks with and we will make things public once we conclude everything,” he added.The tactician is happy with his team’s preparation so far ahead of the new campaign that kicks off on 6th November.“Our preparation has so far been great. We have not lost many players and so it has largely been getting the players back to shape and prepare them for the new season, a season that will be so important to us,” he stated.
