With the LPGA off this week, a number of the game’s biggest stars headed to Long Island, New York, for the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Team Series.
This marks the third stop in a four-tournament series that was introduced this year. Nelly and Jessica Korda, Lexi Thompson, Danielle Kang, Lizette Salas, Cheyenne Woods and Natalie Gulbis are among the American players in the field. European Solheim Cup stars Charley Hull, Anna Nordqvist, Sophia Popov, Emily Kristine Pedersen and captain Catriona Matthew are on hand as well at Glen Oaks Club Oct. 14-16.
Our partners at ParOne caught up with the duo of Jessica and Nelly Korda as they took on the Smash Factor Challenge prior to the Aramco Team Series event.
The daughters of 1998 Australian Open men’s tennis champion Petr Korda and 1988 Czech Olympic tennis player Regina Rajchrtova Korda, Jessica, 28, and Nelly, 23, the two are some of the top players on the LPGA tour.
