Olunga: Strategy at club and National team level is different

Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga has said that playing at the national team is different from playing at the club level ahead of his club’s league match against Al Rayyan.Olunga, who has had club stints across three continents, has been in the spotlight after blanking for Harambee Stars recently, scoring only in one of the four 2022 World Cup Qualifiers that Kenya has played so far, in the 1-all draw against Rwanda, despite playing in every minute of the four matches. However, his performance at club level has been excellent, scoring seven goals in two matches, including a five-goal haul in just 45 minutes in the most recent game against Al Sailiya.Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. The club trust in my abilities and contracted with me, and in the beginning when I came to Qatar I succeeded in presenting good matches in the champions league, and in the league, the two matches that I have played were good for me and I succeeded in scoring,” he added.🎙 | أبرز ما قاله اللاعب مايكل أولونغا في المؤتمر الصحفي.#الدحيل #دوري_نجوم_QNB pic.twitter.com/yD4RzvHEwm— نادي الدحيل ALDUHAIL (@DuhailSC) October 15, 2021 Olunga is also upbeat ahead of their game tomorrow and asserted that Al Duhail is ready to continue giving a good performance to achieve a good result when they host Al Rayyan on Sunday.”It will be a good match as there will be many factors for the excitement that will be available inside the stadium, and in Al Duhail we prepare for this match as the other matches, and we know our goal from this match which is the three points, and the return of the internationals to the team will have a good effect on the team’s performance,” he finished.
