Bayer – Bayern game was not anywhere near that description. It was a Bayern rampage against Leverkusen who is was in terrific form before this game. Bayer started the match trying to attack and put an early pressure on the guests, but after the first set-piece, the Pole found his way into the penalty area and scored after just 4 minutes. And it took him 26 minutes to do it again, this time after a Davis assist. Leverkusen just fell apart after that and conceded three more in the space of three minutes! Bayern scored literally after every attack, and it was embarrassing site for the home players and the crowd.
