Kibwage receives offer from Tanzanian club

Kenyan international Michael Kibwage revealed that he has received an offer from a Tanzanian club but remained tight-lipped on the details as he continues to pursue his next move.Kibwage fell out with Sofapaka at the back end of last season as the club alienated him and has since been trying to part ways with the club without any success thus far.The defender sought to terminate his contract after going for months without pay but the club has been reluctant to hand him a release letter, a move that has left him without a club.We continued with our non-contracted players’ football training at the Two Rivers KE Sports District Grounds this morning. Among the players who are part of the team include @MiesoMiheso, @12Kibwage , and Duncan Otieno among others. #kefwanoncontractedplayers##kefwaempowers pic.twitter.com/WL0p1YgtIg— KEFWA (@kefwaofficial) October 1, 2021 Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Kibwage revealed that he has an offer from Tanzania after his move to South Africa fell through and waxed lyrical about the Tanzanian Premier League.“There are teams from South Africa and Tanzania that have recently contacted me and there are also teams from within that are interested me,”Kibwage hearing with Sofapaka set for next week“Tanzanian football is quickly gaining traction it’s not a bad move if everything falls into place I can go try my luck there, their league is now stable,” said Kibwage. The former KCB defender however noted that he is taking his time to ponder on the offers he has received to come to a sober judgement instead of rushing to a decision. Kibwage remains hopeful that a conclusion to the saga between him and Sofapaka will be achieved and opened up on why the deal to South Africa never materialized. Happy New Week✌️✌️✌️ pic.twitter.com/P8vLIM7Wos— Michael Kibwage 12 (@12Kibwage) September 13, 2021 “I’m not completely done with Sofapaka, there are a few issues that we still need to sort out but I believe soon we will come to a conclusion,”“At that time I was not with Sofapaka and the South African transfer window closed right now it’s just to hope for the best,”added Kibwage.
