George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo could be set for another sensational return to Gor Mahia after the club opened talks with the unattached forward.Odhiambo is currently club-less after he got released by Tusker FC at the end of last season and he could set for a third stint with the record league champions who are keen on signing the 2010 Kenyan Premier League Most Valuable (MVP) player.“Talks are currently ongoing and he could sign in the next few days. He is definitely interested in returning and the coach wants to have more options in attack. If everything is agreed upon then he will be a Gor Mahia player before the end of the week,” a source from Gor camp told Mozzart Sport.Berry first joined Gor Mahia in 2009 straight from Thurgem High School, two years later he left the club for Randers of Denmark. This however did not work out and he left the club after a year for Kuopion of Finland. He went on to play for Azam of Tanzania, Shirak, and Ulisses both of Armenia.Perhaps the fastest goal ever scored in a CAF competition match – just 34 seconds after kick-off…. Gor will have to pay the Ghanaian over 3 million shillings to have the transfer embargo lifted. The club was active during the off-season transfer window after they were slapped by a second ban.
