Kayole Starlets’ head coach Jackline Juma is preparing for the 2020/21 Women Premier League (WPL) season, set to kick off on 13 November 2021, with the title in mind. Juma, who joined the team at the conclusion of the last season and was in charge as the Eastlands-based side during the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Cup quarter and semi final matches against Gaspo Women and Vihiga Queens believes she has a squad that can challenge for the title. ##NAJAVA_MECA_5914783##According to the recently released fixture, Kayaole start their campaign away to holders Thika Queens in the 12-team unified league, protected to conclude on 28 May 2022. “We were using the Cup matches as part of our build-up for this new season. We have taken time to strengthen all our departments. As a coach, my focus is on delivering the title for Kayole, which will be no mean feat.” The side is likely to miss the services of team top scorer Christine Ngoizi who has been instrumental in helping them escape the chop to division one.
