Government approves 10,000 fans for K’Ogalo’s Confederation Cup second leg clash

Football fans in the country have a huge reason to smile from ear to ear once again after the Ministry of Health approved a total of 10,000 fans to be allowed access to watch the second leg CAF Confederation Cup second round preliminary clash pitting Kenya’s record champions Gor Mahia against Sudanese outfit Al-Ahly Merowe.Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic last year in March, sports in the country has been on its deathbed as tough restrictions imposed by the government ensured that no fans have been able to attend any games with sporting events seriously affected.However, an easening of the restriction seems to have come into effect as Gor Mahia confirmed that upto ten thousand fans will be allowed to watch their second leg clash to be staged at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.“Up to 10,000 fans to be allowed to watch our second leg CAF match against Al Ahly set for Sunday at Nyayo Stadium; Ministry of Health and Federation already approved,” the club posted in a tweet.🟢 | ANNOUCEMENTUp to 10,000 fans to be allowed to watch our second leg CAF match against Al Ahly set for Sunday at Nyayo Stadium; Ministry of Health and Federation already approved.K’Ogaloooo….
