Sofapaka FC goalkeeping coach John Waw has confirmed his departure from the club upon the expiry of his one-year deal with the 2009 league champions.Waw moved to Sofapaka in October 2020 from Division One side, Soy United and has been in charge of the shot-stoppers’ department. He was brought on board by former coach John Baraza who left the club two months after his arrival.After what has been a turbulent year with Batoto ba Mungu largely due to financial challenges, the former Mathare United, Kakamega Homeboyz, Chemelil Sugar and Sony Sugar keeper has now left the club.
