FKF issues its own ultimatums to the Ministry of Sports

In a letter seen by Mozzart Sport, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has issued its own set of ultimatums to the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage (MOSCA) if they are to comply with the inspection set to be conducted on the country’s football governing body on allegations of misappropriation of funds.On Monday 25th October, MOSCA officially requested FKF to provide upto 34 documents to be inspected by a committee that had been constituted to probe into the alleged scandal following the October 14th directive from Sports Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohammed that issued a green light for a financial audit to be carried out on FKF.##NAJAVA_MECA_5930483##The appointed committee, chaired by Mike Kimoko according to the letter, was tasked with identifying areas of non-compliance to the Sports Act, scrutinizing FKF books or records, accounts and expenditure and to prepare an inspection report and submit the findings to the Cabinet Secretary within two weeks from the date of appointment.In the letter dated Tuesday October 26 and signed by CEO Barry Otieno, FKF told the ministry to provide the full list of the committee members and to confirm if Kimoko was indeed the chairman of the inspection body.
