Mwaura happy to have transitioned into coaching

Immediate former FC Talanta forward Edwin Mwaura is elated to have smoothly transitioned into coaching after his retirement. Mwaura hanged his boots after guiding the Communications Authority of Kenya sponsored club to the top flight last season but coach Ken Kenyatta did not let him go as he retained him in the banch and consequently handed him the role of physical trainer.Mwaura who is among the aspiring coaches who are currently taking the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) level D coaching course rolled out by Football Kenya Federation said it was his dream to scale to coaching after calling it a day.Benson Amianda is set to come on to strengthen Ushuru FC attack, replacing Edwin Mwaura #CSUFC #TheScoreKE #NSL #shabikiaushurufc— Ushuru FC (@UshuruFC) March 17, 2018 The former Ushuru forward was enrolled for the classes alongside the long serving Maurice Odipo who was in Talanta’s books until last season among other tens of budding tacticians.“I have since retired from football and at the moment I am concentrating on getting my badges. I accepted that my active years are over and after having a word with Kenyatta I decided to call it a day. He advised me to hunt for the badges and thus, I had to enroll for the classes. I am learning under him and I am certain that I will make a good coach,” he said.Mwaura who also turned for KCB and Posta Rangers in the meantime said he was relishing at working under Kenyatta’s wings and remained confident of bossing the touchline in future.
