Fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods is the only player who has spent more weeks at No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking than Greg Norman.
After turning pro in 1976, Norman put together a Hall of Fame golf career for the record books. The Shark from Queensland, Australia, won 20 times on the PGA Tour and 14 times on the European Tour, including two Open Championships in 1986 at Turnberry and 1993 at Royal St. George’s. Despite a handful of disappointing finishes in major championships stateside, Norman was the first player in PGA Tour history to surpass $10 million in career earnings.
