Gor Mahia midfielder cries for release letter to seek Spain move

Gor Mahia midfielder Nicholas Omondi is appealing to the management of the club to furnish him with his release letter as he seeks to complete his transfer to a unnamed Spanish fourth tier side. Sources close to the former National U20, Rising Stars captain disclosed that the Spanish outfit had placed a two-year long contract on his table but he could not put pen to paper owing to the absence of the document from Gor office.Gor signed the highly-rated midfielder in January last year on a four-year long contract as part of their rebuilding process following the mass exodus of their experienced players.However, Omondi who has since deserted club duties in an attempt to force his way out failed to break to the starting team and would be occasionally be used as an impact player.Gor Mahia have acquired the signature of Nicholas Omondi on a 4-year deal. The 18 year old is a promising player having captained the National team in the U17 category. He plays in midfield and is a joy to watch.
