We could have won by at least four goals but didn’t have the luck to score,” he said.Nzoia recovered from a nervous start to take the lead in the 16th minute through Kelvin Wafula who rifled the ball past a full advancing Brian Opondo to score his first goal of the season.Wafula who joined Nzoia in February from Bungoma Superstars was set up by Joseph Mwangi to fire home the opener from their first attempt on target. The goal appeared to have injected confidence in the Bungoma side whose power play was no match as they caused the defence all sorts of problems.Bidco full backs had an afternoon to forget as the duo of Gaetan Masha and Felicien Okanda were lively on the flanks and made terrific runs but their final touches worked against them.Bidco came close to leveling matters in the 24th minute when he rose high to head Henry Omollo’s Cross but Nzoia left back Vincent Mahiga back pedalled to clear the goal bound header for a corner as his goalkeeper Humprey Katasi had been beaten. The awful display by the hosts saw Akhulia instruct Zachary Gathu and Alex Keke to warm up as he sought to ring changes in the midfield. The two would be thrown in before restart for Omollo and Collins Neto respectively.Nzoia duo of Katasi and Mahiga were booked in the dying seconds of first half for time wasting antics.Keke nearly restored parity for Bidco just two minutes after coming on after evaded two of his markers but his shot flew inches over the bar.Gathu also made his presence felt as his long shot rattled the bar in the 58th minute. A minute later, Nzoia made their first change where Leonard Kasembeli came in for Titus Kapchanga. With twenty minutes remaining on the clock, Akhulia rested the duo of Nelson Chieta and Brian Nyakhan for Lambert Otieno and Peter Anyona respectively.Bidco finally found the equalizer in the 82nd minute through Jacob Onyango who poked home a loose ball in the box after the Nzoia defence failed to clear David Kalama’s cross.Bidco United XI: Brian Opondo,David Kalama,Anthony Simasi, David Gateri,Kassim Mwinyi, Jacob Onyango,Peter Nzuki,Nelson Chieta, Brian Nyakhan, Collins Neto,Henry OmolloSubstitutes: Ezekiel Owade, Lambert Otieno, Stephen Waruru,Alex Keke, Batts Awita,Gabriel Wandera, Zachary Gathu, Peter Anyona,Lameck OlooNzoia Sugar XI: Humprey Katasi,Kelvin Maliachi, Vincent Mahiga,Ian Karani, Randy Bakari, Kelvin Juma, Joseph Mwangi, Kelvin Wafula,Gaetan Masha, Felicien Okanda, Titus KapchangaSubstitutes: Benson Mangala,Boniface Kweyu,Hassan Beja, Emmanuel Ekeson, Leonard Kasembeli, Ian Simiyu, Collins Wakhungu
