AFC Leopards are set to be active in the closing stages of the transfer window with the transfer ban that was slapped on the set to be lifted by FIFA.The team is yet to recruit any players owing to the transfer embargo that had been slapped on the club for failing to pay their former players and coach but the club managed to agree on a payment plan with the aggrieved parties and consequently, the ban is set to be lifted.The club has now identified players it intends to sign to beef up the squad and topping the list is former Wazito goalkeeper Levis Opiyo who is currently Unattached. The experienced custodian is currently club-less after he parted ways with Wazito last season. Opiyo is expected to fill the void left by Benjamin Ochan who moved to KCCA in Uganda.Former Mathare United and Chemelil defensive midfielder Musa Oundo is another player being courted by Ingwe. He has previously turned out for Division One side, Soy United. Others being eyed include former Kenya Police forward Abraham Dawo, former Sharks midfielder Saphan Oyugi whose move to Biashara United fell through, former Nzoia Sugar winger Cliff Kasuti, ex Kariobangi Sharks defender John Kuol among others.“The window closes on Tuesday and as such we have to make key decisions within a short time.
