Harambee headache! Odada to miss three weeks of action – and will be out of the Uganda clash

More bad news for Engin Firat! Tests conducted on Wednesday morning confirmed our fears that Richard Odada will have to sit out our upcoming qualifier against Uganda.According to initial reports from FK Metalac’s coaching staff, the strong midfielder’s adductor injury will keep him away from the pitch for around three weeks. There will be more examinations on Friday – but one thing is sure: Odada will miss the Cranes game on 11 November as well as FK Metalac’s Serbian Superliga game against FK Radnik on Saturday. Whether he’d be fit to play against Rwanda four days after the Uganda game is yet to be seen.Thursday, 23.00: (2.00) Crvena zvezda (3.50) Midtjylland (4.10)Odada was desperate for some playing time after hardly featuring for his parent club FK Crvena zvezda, the reigning champions. He was given a chance to impress on loan at Metalac and he showed a lot of promise. But this injury setback will halt his progress for both club and country.Richard Odada 🧐 pic.twitter.com/ktd2YjbMTF— Mozzart Bet Kenya (@mozzartbetkenya) October 12, 2021 The boy from Nkoroi will be a miss in Firat’s midfield. There isn’t a good time to get injured, but the timing of this one couldn’t have been much worse.
