After making his Posta Rangers debut in their one-all draw against Nairobi City Stars, Samuel Njau is yearning for more time in between the sticks to register as many cleansheets as possible.Njau was trusted to man the goal when the mailmen surrendered their lead to share spoils with City Stars last weekend, starting ahead of Kelvin Opiyo who was relegated to the bench.Prior to the game, coach Stanley Okumbi had a bias for Opiyo who made history by becoming the third goalkeeper to win the player of the month award as he was feted in February this year.Goalkeeper Samuel Njau is now part of Posta Rangers after spending a season at Gor Mahia. I had been patiently waiting for it for more than a year. I want to build on my performance against City Stars and push for more time on the pitch,” he said.Goalkeeper Samuel Njau has joined @posta_rangers from @OfficialGMFC #FKFPLTransfers pic.twitter.com/i5sAEaCZc6— Greg Mulemi (@Mulemig) September 15, 2021 Njau’s bid to establish himself as the Posta One will face test from Opiyo and the experienced Jairus Adira who has since lost his place in the first team. He believes the competition from the duo will help him remain on toes.Posta who haven’t won in their last two matches are scheduled to play a win-less Nzoia Sugar at Sudi Stadium on Saturday.
