The triumph was Posta’s third in six matches this season.Heading into the game, the hosts badly needed a win after failing to get one in their last five league matches. They also banked on their Sudi backyard where opponents have found the going tough over the years. It was the winger’s second goal of the season after last weekend’s strike against Nairobi City Stars.The hosts started to show more attacking intent after going down and had a penalty appeal turned down moments later when Tyson Kapchanga’s shot appeared to hit the arm of a Posta Rangers defender inside the penalty area.Seven minutes into the second stanza, Jackson Dwang all but ended Nzoia’s hopes of staging a comeback when he found the back of the net with a composed finish. Both teams had chances to score more goals but wastefulness and good defending kept the score-line low. Francis Nambute then sealed Posta’s misery with a third ten minutes from time.The win lifts Posta Rangers to sixth in the log while Nzoia retain the 16th position.
