Bidco hoping for Kibwage boost after international break

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia is hoping that his new centre back Michael Kibwage will be available for selection after the international break.The Thika based club acquired the highly rated centre back in the final days of the transfer window but according to Akhulia, his registration is yet to sail through.Kibwage has been entangled in protracted war with his former club Sofapaka over his future with the player maintaining that he had quit the club while the latter insisted that the player was their contracted asset.The push and pull culminated with the two parties seeking to unlock the stalemate at the Sports Disputes Tribunal and at the Football Kenya Federation player status committee.Sofapaka’s outrageous demands to wantaway KibwageSofapaka through their president Elly Kalekwa claimed that the player will only be granted his wish of leaving the club should he reimburse part of the sign on fee and ask for forgiveness.The former KCB defender who opted to keep fit in the Kenya Footballers Welfare Association that was comprised of team free agents summoned by the body to train as they wait for suitors to knock on their doors.Kibwage who trained with Bidco for a couple of days was named on the bench when the club ended its win-less start of life in the season after beating Mathare United by a solitary goal at the Kasarani Annex on Saturday.”I am hoping that he will be cleared before our next game after the game.
