Five minutes into the game Bandari got to a dream start when Benjamin Mosha fired home from an Abdallah Hassan delivery. The hosts had an opportunity to hit back two minutes later but Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Opoku failed to direct his shot from a prime position on the target.The match was slowly turning to an end-to-end duel, Whyvonne Isuza nearly doubled the Dockers’ lead in the 11th minute but the hosts’ defenders did well to defect his goal-bound shot for a fruitless corner kick. Former Bandari forward Yema Mwana had a chance to level the scores in the 30th minute but Michael Wanyika on Bandari goal smothered his header. Wanyika was once again called into action in the 36th minute to deny Brian Eshihanda from a freekick situation.
