Isabwa backs the misfiring Vihiga Bullets to find footing

Vihiga Bullets winger Michael Isabwa has backed the club to find their footing in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League despite failing to register a win in their opening six rounds. Bullets have been welcomed in the top flight in the rudest way after losing five times and sharing spoils once, a start that has already left many convinced that they are strong candidates for relegation. The Evans Mafuta coached side was promoted alongside FC Talanta to the top flight after finishing second in the National Super League behind the latter. Kenya Police were also given the licence to operate in the league after emerging victors in the playoff where they overcame Vihiga United.62’| Goal @NrbCityStarsOuma works the ball into box ,Agesa takes a touch and the ball graciously falls into Oderas path to punish VihigaCity 2-0 Bullets#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/4qOuEY8Jch— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) November 6, 2021 While Talanta and Police have at least won a match in the league, Bullets continue to fire blanks with their latest outing ending 4-0 in favour to Nairobi City Stars.Isabwa who alongside Rashid Kyambadde are the only players to have a scored a goal for the club said they were close from adapting to top flight football and will soon begin to give a good account of themselves.“We will certainly start winning matches. We have more than twenty rounds to salvage the situation and preserve our top flight status. Just because we have began poorly it doesn’t mean we will struggle throughout,” he said.Iswabwa who joined the side before the season began from Vihiga United admitted that lack of top flight experience was hurting them but rallied behind the players who are new to the league to fully shake off the stage fright.Bullets acquired close to seven players upon their promotion unlike Police who injected experience in their squad and in the technical bench.Vihiga fire blank BulletsFULLTIME SCORESNCS 4️⃣ – 0️⃣ VIH#BetterMustCome #COYSWN#𝕊𝕚𝕞𝕓𝕒𝕎𝕒ℕ𝕒𝕚𝕣𝕠𝕓𝕚 pic.twitter.com/6gxyC7GV2t— Official Nairobi City Stars Fc (@NrbCityStars) November 6, 2021 “Some of our players are new in the league but they are slowly learning the ropes.
