A first half goal by Joe Waithira was all Sofapaka needed to condemn AFC Leopards to their fourth successive league defeat in an FKFPL match played at the Wudanyi Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Leopards came into the match seeking to bounce back to their winning ways following losses to Ulinzi Stars, Bandari and Gor Mahia but Waithira struck late in the first half to deny them victory.Reports from Wundanyi indicate that kickoff was delayed for close to an hour after Sofapaka who were the hosts availed an ambulance that didn’t meet the set standards and forcing the centre referee to delay until they provided a well equipped one.FULL TIME Another defeatSofapaka FC 1 AFC Leopards 0#Betsafe #OursForever #INGWE— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) November 7, 2021 Prior to kickoff, Ingwe boss Patrick Aussems confirmed that the budding Marvin Nabwire will be the club skipper going forward with Peter Thiongó as his assistant.
