Nyakeya reveals why he chose Wazito over Gor Mahia

Having been a free agent coming into the transfer season, Cliff Nyakeya was one of the most sought after players but he opted to reunite with Francis Kimanzi at Wazito FC despite offers from various clubs. A move to his former side Gor Mahia where he turned out for the youth side in the past was on the cards but talks ultimately broke down with Nyakeya putting pen to paper at the Crypto-backed outfit. The 26-year-old admitted that he had a number of potential suitors but after pondering on his decision decided to continue his association with Francis Kimanzi.The sixth issue of the Wazito Monthly is out. I took my time to weigh each proposal. In the end, the proposal by Wazito was the best for me,”“They have a nice project going on here which I’m excited to be part of. I also like the professionalism with which they do things here.
