Joe Waithira scored the all-important goal on the stroke of halftime to help the 2009 champions half their three-match losing streak. It was also a match that saw Tsuma play for a full 90 minutes since he joined the club from AFC Leopards and the midfielder says it is important for the team to bag more triumphs in their coming assignments.🎬 Joe Waithira’s goal against the @AFCLeopards⚽ Goal no 3 for the midfielder 🔢 6th in total so far for the team@betikaKe @OyandoRonny #BatotoBaMungu pic.twitter.com/6Ptk44ZIGn— Sofapaka FC (@FC_Sofapaka) November 9, 2021 “On Sunday we got the work done, but it’s just the beginning for us. We have not had a good start to the season, but the season is a long way to go. We have a good side and only want to build on the Leopards win going forward. To keep up with good results each week, we only need to keep winning, and this comes with consistency. We want to build on it and get the best in every match,” he told the club website.##NAJAVA_MECA_5968706##Despite setting up Waithira for the winner against his former club, Tsuma believes that his performance was not exceptional in Wundayi but is glad that they picked maximum points in the game.“First, I want to thank God for my first start for the club and, secondly, coach Ken Odhiambo for his trust in me. Mentally and emotionally, it is never easy playing against your former team, and so I wasn’t exceptional. It was a tough match for us, but I am glad I was well-composed and helped my side to emerge victoriously,” he added.⌚ Full minutes⚽ An assist3⃣ Maximum points🗞 Said Tsuma reflects on Leopards win, read more on https://t.co/YugBxBxjpx@betikaKe @OyandoRonny #BatotoBaMungu pic.twitter.com/AUhOXXNHBs— Sofapaka FC (@FC_Sofapaka) November 10, 2021 “I feel good to have played full minutes in the match, but most importantly, I am so happy for my first assist of the season because it helped us bag the maximum points. Going by my playing position, it is never easy to get such an assist, and I am only hoping to get more of the assists in the coming fixtures because the ultimate goal is to help the team get the results”.
