The newly installed Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Caretaker Committee led by retired judge Aaron Ringera has declared that it will take charge of Harambee Stars’ last match at the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda that is scheduled to be played on Monday 15 November 2021.In the preliminary findings of the FKF inspection committee, Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed through the registrar of the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage mandated the committee to coordinate and ensure smooth running of FKF’s operations including team preparations of all local and international sporting events.In line with that mandate, Ringera affirmed that the body will indeed take charge of the team’s preparation in that last dead rubber qualifier clash“The arrangements of the match between Rwanda and Kenya are going on as planned. The FKF caretaker committee will facilitate in a fraternal manner the team from Rwanda as well as the Kenyan team. Right now, a team is at the airport to take care of those arrangements,” Ringera who is the chairman of the committee said.BREAKING: Ringera suspends football leagues as FKF Caretaker Committee settles for workHaving played five matches already, Kenya is expected to wrap up its failed attempts to qualify for the World Cup when they host the Rwandese on Monday at Nyayo National Stadium. In the first leg meeting between the two sides, the encounter ended in a 1-1 draw in Kigali, Rwanda. Regardless of the results, both teams have no chance of qualifying to the last playoff round.
