How Carol Radull missed FKF Caretaker Committee appointment

Renowned media personality and sports journalist Carol Radull has finally revealed that she was initially approached to be part of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Caretaker Committee but missed out after asking for time to ponder on the decision. Following the Caretaker Committee being announced on Thursday, social media was awash with public outcry with many questioning the decision not to include Radull due to her vast experience in football.I naively thought they had given me time to weighs pros and cons and to understand what I was getting into. Hehe,” tweeted Radull.The Nation FM presenter was replying to a tweet from Calvin Besman who was disappointed by Radull for not taking up the role. “My goodness, so our very own Carol Radull was approached but it didn’t work out because she was diplomatic and inquisitive on the terms. Okay well.. but you disappointed us Caro you would have joined then fix other issues later, anyway we wait,” tweeted Calvin. It is not still clear whether Radull was offered a role to be part of the Committee or the Secretariat after FKF was disbanded by Sports Cabinet Secretary Amb. Isayi, Elisha Chepchieng Kiplagat, Hassan Mahmoud Haji, Fredrick Tureisa Lekesike and Mwangi Muthee, Neddy Atieno, J.J Masiga, Bobby Ogola, Richard Omwela, Titus Kasuve, and Ali Amour.The secretariat is led by Linda Oguttu, who will be assisted by Michael Mucheni (Secretary), Lorine Nerea Shitubi (Joint Secretary), Caesar Handa, Habo Mwachiro, Edward Rombo, Hiba Hussein, Gabriel Warigi, Dr Walter Ongeti, Rashid Khamisi Ali Shedu, Hon. Rachael Kamweru and Robin Toskin.
